The Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) will hold its convention on 3rd of May and to choose its candidates for the Mongolian presidential election. The decision was made by the MPP executive board on Wednesday 26th of April.
On 10th of April, Ts.Munkh-Orgil, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, discussed the issue of granting multiple-entry visas for Mongolians who were previous visa-free-entrants with U Sung, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia.
On 11th of April, the Head of the Mongolian Cabinet Secretariat, J.Munkhbat, presented the Cabinet’s Action Plan for 2016-2020’ to M.Enkhbold, Speaker of Parliament. The action plan contains the policies and national programmes which the new government will implement from 2016 to 2020.
The Speaker of the Mongolian Parliament, Mr M.Enkhbold, is currently participating in the 136th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), which is being held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from April 1st to 5th.
The Mongolian Great State Khural (parliament) approved a ’Law on Deliberative Polling’ during the autumn session. In this connection, Ts.Tsolmon, State Secretary of the Office of Parliament has met Professor James S. Fishkin, director of Stanford’s Center for Deliberative Democracy to discuss an agenda for implementing the law.
