The Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has visited Mongolia on 22nd October, at the invitation of Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj. The President has received Prime Minister at his home; and discussed about the strategic co-operation of two countries. There was a time, that the first foreign President, who visited Shinzo Abe’s home was Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj. This time was, also the first time, which foreign Prime Minister visited Mongolian President’s Home. During the meeting, two sides have signed “Economical Partnership Agreement”.
After this meeting, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has met also, Parliament Speaker and Prime Minister. During this meetings, Shinzo Abe said that: “Implementation of the natural resources projects is essential. Japanese side is ready to provide participation on these projects”. Therefore, Minister of Mongolian Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren and Japanese Ambassador in Mongolia T.Shimizu have signed on the MoU to co-operate in construction of eastern railway works in TavanTolgoi.
