On 12th November, the State Drama Theatre opened their 85th dramatic season with “Romeo and Juliet” by Shakespeare. “Romeo and Juliet” was first performanced in 1966 with S.Genden as director- choreographer. The next performance came 30 years later, in 1996, under director Ch.Naidandorj. This time, 19 years later, the general director of the State Drama Theatre is presenting a new choreographed version of “Romeo and Juliet”. This choreography will not show only love, it will describe the abnormality of current society, people’s character, greed and value of the precious things. The young actress O.Dulguun and actor B.Shinebayar are playing the respective roles of Romeo and Juliet. The ticket prices range from MNT15,000-30,000, with a VIP price of MNT 50,000.
