The “Hong Kong International Races”, which has a 100-year history, was held on 13th December. This year, 14 horses participated in the event. A Mongolian race horse, named “Mongolian Saturday” came in 5th place. The trainer E.Ganbat brought “Mongolian Saturday” to Hong Kong ten days before the competition.
In accordance with the international regulations, “Mongolian Saturday” was tested before the race. “Mongolian Saturday” is a 5-year old horse, and was the fastest for its age in the race, covering the 1.1 km distance in 1 minute 0.3 seconds. Horses from Japan, France, the United Kingdom and the USA participated in the “Hong Kong International Races”.
