On 24th January evening, at the invitation of Mongolian Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg, the 62nd Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, arrived in Mongolia. Today, Mr Orban participated in a wreath laying ceremony at the statue of Chinggis Khaan. Following the ceremony, at 10.20 am, a private meeting of the two prime ministers commenced at which Prime Minister Saikhanbileg officially welcomed Viktor Orban in the “Column Hall” of Government House. According to tradition Prime Minister Orban signed the “Honorary Guest Book”.
This is the first visit of the Hungarian Prime Minister to Mongolia. During the visit, a cooperation memorandum is to be concluded for the promotion of business and other activities. The Hungarian business representatives, who are accompanying Mr. Viktor Orban will visit the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and participate in the “Hungarian Day”. The visit of the Hungarian Prime Minister will end on 26th January.
